Over the last 15 years,  I have had my own share of personal experiences that sparked an interested in pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

I have volunteered in community based centers and in mental health as a care manager.  Although this work has been rewarding, I have barely scratched the surface for healing communities, hence I am currently obtaining my Master’s degree in Social Work at USF - Go Bulls!

My proclivity for mental health originated from acknowledging the disparity of outreach and stigma our society holds surrounding mental health for folx that look like me. Being birthed by a Venezuelan mother and a father who identifies as Dutch-Indonesian, presented a variety of circumstances and obstacles one could not process with a traditional therapist. Does this sound familiar to you? I understand!

Now that I am in the position to help my community in ways I needed, I am intentional about incorporating a realistic tone and cultural humility with my approach to treatment. I aim to work with trauma survivors in the Latinx and other BIPOC communities. We are a community that deserves the services and recognition to equip ourselves for a turbulent world.

Are you depleted of energy? Are you having difficulties, with no capacity to figure out solutions to your problems? Do you have an unnurturing support system and are missing community? Together, we will discover what works best for your well-being. My mission is to support, inspire, and most importantly, to connect with you at whatever point you are in your process of healing. I incorporate art, music, and any source of creativity to nurture your spirit into treatment.

With a listening ear and an unbiased perspective my objective is to help you process, heal, and uproot personal and external trauma that continues to impact you today. I aim to provide you with the necessary skills to thrive at every phase of your journey and to cheer you on as you implement beneficial changes in your life! Let's do the work!

In solidarity, I appreciate the courage it requires to seek help, and I feel privileged to be chosen as your trusted care provider.

I am also bilingual, fluent in English & Spanish.
