about TAINA
HI.

I’m Taina, a Florida based somatic therapist helping folx heal from trauma, reclaim confidence, and step into self-love without apology.

I specialize in complex trauma, narcissistic abuse recovery, and helping people of color reconnect with themselves beneath the survival.
My work is rooted in truth, care, and real talk, because healing isn’t always gentle, but it is sacred.

Confidence and self-love aren’t luxuries - they’re necessities. I help clients reclaim their power, unlearn the lies they were told about their worth, and build lives that feel aligned, not just “functional.”
Whether you’re untangling from years of emotional manipulation or just learning to finally choose you, this space is yours.

Alongside therapy, I offer consultation in private practice setup, group practice expansion, and certification in Brainspotting as well as qualified supervision for registered clinical social work interns in Florida.
If you’re ready to do the deep work with compassion, clarity, and maybe a little sass, BOOK THE BOUTIQUE to get started!

MINDFULNESS. MOTHERHOOD. ANXIETY. ADVOCACY. TRAUMA FOCUSED.

Hello! I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of South Florida—Go Bulls! Currently, I’m pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at Capella University. My journey into mental health and social work began in high school when I participated in the “Best Buddies” program, where I engaged with students with disabilities. This experience ignited my passion for advocacy and mental health.

After high school, I began working directly with individuals and families who suffer from trauma. I have also integrated mindfulness and self-care techniques to help combat trauma and anxiety. I have a passion for supporting mothers, especially single mothers, and folx struggling with life transitions.

As a lifelong resident of Tampa, FL, I enjoy activities like copper jewelry making, traveling, reading, and roller skating in my spare time. My passions lie in creativity, self-expression, mindfulness, and the power of empathy. My roots run deep in Florida; however, I have family all over the United States and a few abroad.

My advocacy work has deepened my commitment to being a supportive listener and guiding others toward wellness. Some of my goals include combating stigmas associated with therapeutic services and empowering people. I am also passionate about understanding the impacts of stress on mental health and well-being.

Life can present challenges for all of us, and seeking help is a sign of strength. No matter where you are on your journey, I’m here to support you, and positively impact you. Together, we can explore what thriving and wellness look like for you. Let’s embark on this journey together!
